Products, Orders, Shipping and Returns

La Petite Écolière accepts Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Apple Pay and PayPal. Your card will be charged immediately upon submission of your order. For purchases made in-person, you may pay by credit card, cash or e-transfer.

La Petite Écolière will contact you if an item you ordered is out of stock. We will update you as to when that product will be available, or other items available in that size.

Absolutely! La Petite Écolière t-shirts are unisex in size and style. While our branding and our mission are focused on girls, we encourage boys to wear our products and become aware of these issues as well. Education matters for everyone.

You will be liable for all import duties, customs and taxes for shipments outside of the USA. These fees may very depending on order value and your country. These will be due at the point of, or after delivery.

Please be aware that La Petite Écolière does not have any control for any duties, customs, and taxes levied by the country your order is being shipped to. We cannot tell you what the cost will be as these charges can vary and as the packages that go through customs are randomly selected.

Our products ship from the United States, Canada, Australia, Latvia, Japan and Spain. Please check the product description to see where exactly items ship from to determine whether or not you will be charged customs and duties.

La Petite Écolière items are made to order and printed on demand to avoid holding too much inventory and print anything that goes out of season and needs to be thrown away. Items are usually shipped within 3 to 7 days.

Below are our average shipping times, these must be added to the 3-7 day fulfillment time.
● USA: 3–4 business days
● Europe: 6–8 business days
● Australia: 2–14 business days
● Japan: 4–8 business days
● International: 10–20 business days

If you have not received your product within the time frame given above, please check your local post office, as they sometimes hold the orders. Please contact us if it is not at the post office so we can assist you.

If you believe your package was lost in the mail, please check in with your local post office, and confirm your shipping address was correct. If your item was lost in transit due to the carriers, we will be happy to reship and replace the order for you free of charge.

All claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date to receive a replacement free of charge.

If the carrier isn’t able to deliver the items because of the wrong address, or if the package was unclaimed by you, it will be shipped back to our partner's facility. The item will be held for 28 days. You will be responsible for the costs of reshipping the item. Please be careful and double-check that you’ve added the correct address prior to submitting your order. We are able to make changes while the item is in production, but it will be out of our hands once the order ships.

You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, drop us a line at hello@lapetiteecoliere.com.

Requests may be made by contacting us, however if items have already been printed and prepared to ship, La Petite Écolière will be unable to accommodate requests to change orders. As a small business that makes items to order, we are unable to honour returns based on buyer's remorse.

For items that have already shipped, we are happy to exchange items for size within 30 days of receipt, and / or give store credit which can be used at any time. We do not offer refunds, as we are a small business and each item is made to order for the customer - we cannot return due to buyer's remorse. Please look at the size chart located on each page, and contact us if you have any questions prior to ordering.

Exchange items must be unwashed and unworn. You will have to pay the return shipping and we will pay for the cost of shipping the new item.

We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at hello@lapetiteecoliere.com within a weeks' time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!

For information on sizing and measurements, you can check out the sizing charts which you can find on each product page.If you need additional assistance, please reach out! We make everything on demand, so requesting a size exchange would mean producing an entirely new product.

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.

Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash.

We'd love to hear from brands and people who share our beliefs that girls and women deserve to be educated and empowered. Please contact us for additional information about partnerships and collaborations.

We are open to working with new charities and non-profits that empower and educate girls and women. We look for charitable partners that align with our goal of supporting girls and women in education and STEM, and who will be partners by actively promoting our products and partnership.

We offer a 30% discount on all our items with a minimum order of $1,500 and an additional $75 for deliveries outside the United States and Canada. Payments must be made up front and in full. Please get in touch if you're interested in carrying our products.

La Petite Écolière chose its first charity recipient, Plan International Canada because of our shared belief that when girls are educated, healthy and empowered, they can lift themselves and everyone around them out of poverty.

Plan International works in 52 developing countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas. Plan International educates its donors on both the transformative effects of education for girls, and on what is keeping girls out of schools in many countries - circumstances that are unimaginable to us here in Canada. By giving children, families and communities the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty, they begin the cycle of progress by creating sustainable solutions for improving their own lives.

Plan International also helps the communities they work with in the areas of health, water and sanitation, protection from violence, economic security, sexual health, and emergency relief.

In the future, La Petite Écolière plans to have specific product lines and themes support specific initiatives. We also collaborate with our Brand Ambassadors to support causes close to their hearts.
